Apsley Cottage

We completely renovated a dated cottage on a prime piece of land about 10 years ago, and the clients were ready for some upgrades. Having had a great experience with us we were approached to add on to our work and accommodate their growing needs.

Screened in and covered deck

One thing that the owners did not anticipate when first renovating their cottage was just how bad the bugs can be at certain times of the year. Being on a peninsula helps, but now they can stay outside at anytime worry free of any bug bites.

Seen here is the tip of the property, a prime place to sit and enjoy either the sunrise or sunset. Also pictured is the deck we built about 10 years ago still in great condition. We returned to this deck 3 years after its original completion to add gates and to add some pickets to create a good enclosure for the families new puppy.

I'd be lying if i said that this wasn't one of the best job sites i've worked on. This screened room has full 360 degree views and the design, in time, will blend in with the colour of the existing deck.

ATV Garages

The family had developed quite a collection of ATV's and didn't want to keep them outdoors anymore. SO we designed some garages, threw some extra storage into one of them and plotted some land where we could build without killing any trees.

We were lucky that the natural landscape had 2 perfect openings in which to build these garages out of the way of the view of the lake from the driveway. We even had space to have a side storage door in one of the garages which we quickly realized was almost essential for all the ATV add ons.
